Hello everyone, this is ‘Youth Yaks’
This blog will focus on information and random thoughts concerning our youth and the world they live in. Whether it is your two year toddler or that High School graduate, we want to talk about it.
This year marks my 30th year in children’s ministries from youth groups, to cell groups, to clubs, to missions, to Sunday school, to teaching first grade up to seniors. What I realize more than ever after three decades is how I need to rely on God for the answers and not search in another book. I truly believe that most of our youth that struggle do so because the adults in their lives have made compromises of some sort. Though these kids are responsible for their own thoughts and actions, they are greatly influenced by those mentoring and discipling them, whether good or bad.
This blog is not here just for the grownups but the youth are welcome to share as well.
