Amazing Love
I have been marveling lately at the love of God… Eph 3:16-19 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge , that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.
There is nothing like the love of God, it is beyond anything that this world has to offer, it is higher and deeper than any of man’s wisdom and knowledge. Paul here encourages the church to look more intensely into the love of God so we can comprehend it.
I recently rediscovered a verse from John 17 that just blew my mind let me share it with you. Jesus is praying for his followers and also those who would believe in Him through there witness.
John 17:22-23 23 I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
Wow, God loves us the way He loves Jesus, well this just overwhelms me.
