One thing that bothered me with Obama’s exceptance speach was that he included gays in his equal right part. McCain said he would do anything for votes. Maybe he was right. Oh well..
He is our president now. I think he will be under a microscope for a while and he can’t make decisions with out his administration or the senate, I believe.
I also am against any form of gun control, unlike Obama.

Wow, history is made. A black president. He is very impressive to listen to. He can almost bring a tear to your eye and has a huge influence over alot of the people. There were more people crying watching him than i have ever seen. unexperienced-yes, scarry-yes but these are scarry times and the lord knows what he is doing by putting him in office. I dont believe in alot of things obama believes in but now he is our president now and we need to stick by his side. He has already received like 50,000 death threats. if he is assasinated, OH MAN, WATCH OUT!! This country could go nuts, we could have a nationwide watts riot.
I voted for Mccain because i thought he was the best man. The lord thought differently.

He is mostly correct about the political consequences of electing Obama & his naive policies,
however, it always is interesting to me to listen to misguided Christians talk about America as if it is God’s “new Israel”.

I am not as Biblically Knowledgeable as Greg – so feel free to correct me if I’m wrong buddy –
but I just don’t see anywhere in the New Testament where God brought down catastrophe as “judgment” on a nation just because it wasn’t following him.

God is more concerned about His people (Christians) than he is about the countries they live in.

Seriously, what makes America so special that God should Judge us over China? or other Countries where terrible things are being done that obviously break God’s law.

I am a Conservative, I love this country very much.
I was very upset to see some of my Christian brothers & sisters vote for this man, & even more
upset to see that he was elected.
But I do not despair, because the more this world crumbles, the closer we come to Christ’s Return!

So many opinions! If it isn’t in God’s Word and He didn’t say it there, then why should we try to be Him and say it as if we can replace Him?
